Padel Play and Instruction in Windward Lake
Padel at Racket Social Club at Windward Lake features four premium padel courts just north of Atlanta, offering an exceptional playing experience for players of all levels. Our padel programs are designed for beginner and intermediate players, combining professional instruction with a welcoming, social atmosphere that helps players build skills and connect with the community. For those who prefer open play, padel court reservations at Windward Lake are also available, making it easy to jump in and play on your own schedule.
Intro to Padel
Mondays and Wednesdays 5:00-6:00pm
This introductory class is designed for players new to the game who want to learn the rules, scoring, and basic flow of play in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. Participants will be introduced to foundational skills, including how to hit shots off the wall, and gain confidence moving around the court. This one-time starter session helps players get comfortable on court before progressing into the Beginner Clinic. No prior experience is required—just bring your energy and be ready to play.​

Mondays and Wednesdays 9:00-10:30am, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30am-12:00pm & 6:00-7:30pm
This beginner-level class is designed for players learning the game for the first time or those with very little experience. Instruction focuses on building a strong foundation, including proper grip and stance, groundstrokes, serve, volleys, rules, and first steps in using the walls. Players can expect hands-on coaching and structured drills that reinforce technique and confidence on court. Clinics are 90 minutes in length and run with 1 to 4 players to ensure personalized instruction and plenty of hitting time.

This intermediate clinic is designed for players with prior racket sport experience or padel players ready to advance their game. Instruction focuses on expanding shot selection, including smashes, lobs, defensive shots, and improved consistency, with an emphasis on using the wall effectively. Players will also learn key doubles tactics, positioning, and on-court strategy to elevate match play. Ideal for those prepared to move beyond the fundamentals, clinics are 90 minutes in length and run with 1 to 4 players for focused, personalized instruction.

King of the Court (Level-Based Class Times)
Mondays and Thursdays 7:30-9:30pm (Intermediate), Wednesdays 7:30-9:30pm (High Intermediate Class), Saturday 10:30am-12:00pm (Beginner Class)
Players can expect fast-paced matches against challenging opponents, with rotating partners and courts that keep play dynamic and engaging. The format emphasizes consistency, court awareness, and strategic decision-making in real match situations. Participation is limited to a maximum of 8 players, with a minimum of 4 required to run the clinic. We aim for groups in multiples of four to keep all courts active and ensure smooth, continuous gameplay.

Tuesdays 7:30-9:00pm
Women’s Padel Match Play is a great opportunity to bring women together in a fun, welcoming, and social environment to enjoy the game of padel while making new friends both on and off the court. This clinic is designed for new players, and while prior padel experience is not necessary, some background in racket sports is recommended. Participants can expect a balanced session that includes 45 minutes of on-court drills followed by 45 minutes of match play, allowing players to learn the fundamentals and immediately apply them in a game setting.​
